September 16 on the Atlantic Queen

Fin whales everywhere! That was what we found, well inshore of Jeffreys Ledge, on Sunday.  They were a bit unpredictable, but we did get some good lucks.  It was hard to tell how many individuals we had, but we estimate there were 7-11 different fin whales over the course of the trip. All in all, it was a great trip, and we always feel fortunate when we see the second-largest species on the planet!
