I must admit I was disappointed in today's lack of variety- only one species was seen! But we had many of that one species! Humpback whales were the name of the game today. We saw 5 close by and several more were not far away. So many whales....so little time....
Our first whale was the star of the afternoon. Badge, a male humpback whale decided to breach- just once- as we approached. Although Badge has been seen prior this season, it was way back in mid-May so we were thrilled to see him back in the area again!

Badge was on a mission, spending his afternoon cruising around the area and at one point visited with a trio. Two of these three were females, Dice and Flamingo.
