Friday July 16 on the Atlantic Queen

It was a ride for us on the Atlantic Queen today. In the past 7-10 days the whales have decided to go far off shore. Our only explanation is that there food has moved, so the whales will move. During our trek out we passed many groups of Blue Fin
Tuna, some were making it clear out of the water, luckily for them there were no fishing boats around them. Thanks to our friends on the Prince of Whales they gave us a call and reported a pair of Humpbacks. As we got closer it turned out to be a mom and her calf! Diablo and her fifth calf. Diablo was born in 1983. Her calf won't be named until next Spring. Thank you to all our passengers for there interest in whales, the ocean, and the work The Blue Ocean Society does, a special thank you to our dedicated repeat customers. Another hot weekend cool off with us!
