Wednesday's Atlantic Queen Trip

Passengers watch the humpback "Kickstand," with a Wilson's storm-petrel flying overhead

It took a little while to post this, but we had a great trip on Wednesday, although we traveled pretty far.

Eventually, we found ourselves at the very southern end of Jeffreys Ledge (probably a bit beyond that, actually) with Kickstand, a newly-named humpback whale, and several other humpbacks in the area.  We also got great looks at a minke on the way down, and a quick look at a fin whale who was apparently on the move.

Kickstand
Kickstand thrilled us by coming up right in front of the bow, and then again at the stern, while it was feeding in the area. Overall a great day on the water!
