July 17 Atlantic Queen

Pinball and Scylla
A nice sunny day, combined with cool breezes and great whales made for a fantastic whale watch!

Today we got to see not one, but two humpback whales!  To add to our excitement, one was Pinball (a 24-year old female, and one of our adoptable whales) and the other was a whale we haven't seen yet this season - Scylla, a female who is 31.

Two flukes!
We've had some great trips lately and fantastic fin and minke whales, but it's great to see a couple humpbacks back in the area.

Pinball and Scylla spent plenty of time at the surface in between short 3-4 minute dives. We got some great looks at their enormous flukes!
