July 1 Atlantic Queen Trip

Fin whales together

We had a great day watching 2 fin whales, who were doing some circling around, apparently feeding somewhere below the water surface.

Today was a great example of how we never know what the whales will be doing or how close they will get. Sometimes whales are so busy feeding, they don't pay attention to what's around them, and we got a very close look at one that seemed to be in this situation!

It's always amazing to get such great looks at fin whales - the second largest species on Earth!
