Prince of Whales July 25

Fin whale coming up to breathe
A perfect summer day in The Gulf of Maine today.  The sea's settled down and the whales returned.  We were stuck on the dock for a day so returning after a day off is always exciting.  We never know what we will see when most of the boats don't make it out.  Today was a great day.  We had a total of 8 harbor seals, 6 minke whales, 4 fin whales, and a small  group of harbor porpoise.

We had a full boat today of first time whale watchers and some dedicated return passengers who had great questions for all of us aboard.  Happy birthday to Dylan from Concord, NH who brought hos friends on a whale watch for his party, very cool Dylan!  An extra surprise Dylan won our raffle today!  Happy 8th birthday Dylan we hope to see you and all your friends again soon!
