Prince of Whales August 27

"Clipper's dorsal fin
Today was all about the big, beautiful females of the ledge.  We don't always have sightings of so many humpbacks staying together.  The wind was blowing creating white caps which makes finding whales a bit more difficult.  As I have posted before whale watching takes patience, and it always seems to pay off.

These 3 females were all together today.  They were not the only females around we also had "Clipper" and "Bolide"

What will tomorrow bring?  The only way to find out is to come out and see us!  though each day is different, the sightings lately continue to impress.

Congratulations to Olivia from Ipswich,Ma who won our raffle,Pinball the humpback whale.

Thank you to all of our new whale watchers and to those who returned, many thanks for your support.
